Suur-Merijoki

Location northwest from the city of Vyborg. The LLv26 was founded at Suur-Merijoki and it was the first airbase of the squadron.

The LLv26 operated from Suur-Merijoki with Gloster Gamecock (GA) trainers and Bristol Bulldog (BU) fighters.

Operations started on the 23rd of October 1934 with two GA planes which were lent from the LLv24. The first flight with BU planes was on the 20th of February 1935.

Operation time before the wars 1.1.1934 - 8.2.1938.

Utti

Location east from the city of Kouvola.

The LLv26 operated from Utti before and during the Winter War with Fokker DXXI (FR) and Bristol Bulldog (BU) fighters.

During the Winter War the HQ and some aircraft maintenance parts of the LLv26 were positioned at Utti.

Raulampi (Heinjoki)

Also known as Heinjoki airbase. Location at the Karelian Ishtmus east from the city of Vyborg, between the city and the Vuoksi river.

The LLv26 operated from the base with Bristol Bulldogs (BU) during the Winter War 21.10. - 6.12.1939 and later during the Continuation War 9.5. - 16.6.1944 with with Brewsters (BW).

Mensuvaara

Location near the town Uukuniemi very near the eastern borderline southeast from the city of Savonlinna.

During the Winter War the LLv26 operated from the base with Bristol Bulldogs (BU) 6.12. - 19.12.1939 and later with Gloster Gladiators (GL) 5.2. - 7.2.1940 and 14.2. - 21.2.1940.

During the Continuation War the LLv26 operated from the base 6.7. - 26.7.1944 with with Brewsters (BW).

Käkisalmi

(Priozersk) Location at the Karelian Ishtmus on the northwest shore of Lake Ladoga.

During the Winter War the LLv26 operated from the base with Bristol Bulldogs (BU) 19.12. - 29.12.1939.

During the Continuation War the LLv26 operated from the base 27.4. - 29.5.1942 with Fiats (FA) and later 16.6. - 25.7.1944 with Brewsters (BW).

An ice based airfield on a small lake called Littoinen east from the city of Turku.

During the Winter War The LLv26 operated from the base 31.12.1939 - 3.2.1940 with Bristol Bulldogs (BU) by Detachment Heinilä.

Immola

Location northeast the city of Imatra, on the shore of lake Immalanjärvi.

During the Continuation War the LLv26 operated from the base 16.9.1941 - 26.7.1944.

The base was mostly used as a maintenance base for squadrons aircraft until the LLv26 was moved to Värtsilä (the base became an operation baseof the German Detachment Kuhlmey).

Värtsilä

Location on borderline southeast from the city of Joensuu and north from tke Lake Ladoga .

During the Winter War The LLv26 operated from base with Gloster Gladiators (GL) 7.2 - 14.2.1940.

During the Continuation War the LLv26 operated from the base 13.7 - 21.7.1941 with Fiats (FA) and later 26.7 - 8.9.1944 with Brewsters (BW) and captured I-153 (IT) fighters.

Base is located near the city of Varkaus and it was the main base of the LLv26 during inter-war peacetime and in the beginning of the Continuation War.

Operations between 30.5.1940 - 5.7.1941. Squadrons Fiat maintenance and repairs to the September 1941.

The LLv26 operated from the base during the Continuation War 5.7 - 2.8.1941 with Fiats (FA) and later 8.9.1944 - 2.10.1944 with Brewsters (BW) and some liaison aircrafts just after the end of the Continuation War.
